Extreme mental illness or ideology?

Yesterday I wrote about the anniversary of the White-Supremacist bombing that happened in 1995.   So I kept my eye out for new lunatic neo-Nazis, and the good news is I didn’t find one in the U.S., I did, however find one in Canada.  In Nova Scotia a gunman went nuts and killed people.  Funny, saying “went nuts” use to be big news.  Now, it’s like a bad-weather report.  That’s how crazy things have gotten.

This guy dressed as a police officer and killed 16 people.  The deadliest mass-shooting in Canadian history.  It doesn’t even make the top ten in the U.S.

So, what are the odds that this guy was an angry-white racist who listened to hate radio blaming liberals like you and me for his erection dysfunction?  It’s only been a day, but here’s what we know:

(From the Cape Breton Post)

His entry in the 1986 Riverview High School Yearbook was posted,
describing him doing wheelies on his Honda XR 500R dirtbike and going
skiing with friends, with his dislikes of “cold weather and English

Going even further back, junior high school friend Pierre Little on
Twitter recalled an early fascination with air-powered guns and target

“We used to shoot his machine gun air pellet or BB gun, I can’t remember
which, behind his house in Bridgedale,” Little said. “Quite a rare
airgun for the eighties.  He also was into bottlecaps with saltpeter

“I do remember him saying he buys old police vehicles from the auction and fixes them up; he had two,” posted Jones.

That’s all I could find on the guy so far.  Whatever his motivation for the killings was, taking his guns away wouldn’t have helped, but taking his Hate Radio and News away might.

I’ll keep watching and let you know.  There have been liberals nutjobs too, i.e., Unabomber, so it will be interesting to know what motivated this guy.  I’ll definitely let you know.

The best reason so far I found this tweet:

Finally, on this day in 1871 Congress passed the Third Force Act, popularly known as the Ku Klux Act, which authorized President Ulysses S. Grant to use military force to suppress the racist Ku Klux Klan.  Maybe it’s time for a Fourth Force Act?

About Dr TV Boogie

If by a "Liberal," they mean someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people - their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties - someone who believes that we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say that I'm a "Liberal." ~~ JFK View all posts by Dr TV Boogie
